WILL MY BOOKING GO AHEAD IF IT RAINS?

Yes, we rarely have to call a halt to activities however occassionally due to unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues or something outside of our control, we may be forced to reschedule your allotted time slot but we WILL be in touch with you to arrange this first

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your experience

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Be sensible, don't come in designer jeans and trainers if you are heading out on a Quad or a Rage Kart as you will get covered in mud

Our activities are all out on the park or in the woodland so please don't come in heels. Sensible comfortable and warm clothing is perfect. If you fancy a bit to eat in the restaurant afterwards, please bring a spare set of clothes and shoes

CAN I BRING PEOPLE TO WATCH?

At the moment, with Covid we advise to keep this to a minimum especially if it's a wet day. This is because we have limited covered space and you may be with other families and friends. If you are booked on a Quad, the trail takes you into and through the woods so there won't be much for your spectators to see. It is up to you and of course they can always wait in the restaurant for you too

WHAT IF I HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES?

We can accommodate some mobility issues but email us at sales@activitiesattheheart.co.uk with details and we will advise on what
activities are most suited to your particular issue

WHAT IF I AM PREGNANT?

We would not advise you go on our motorised equipment if you are pregnant. Please choose a shooting or target based activity instead

WHAT'S THE MINIMUM AGE ON THE ACTIVITIES?

18 on the Quads and Rage Kart. 10 on Segways and shooting activities. Grass Karts are for between 8 and 16 year olds

WHAT ABOUT SAFETY EQUIPMENT?

All safety equipment is provided appropriate to the activity chosen

ARE YOU COVID SAFE?

All of our equipment is santised between users and we have robust risk assessments and procedures in place to help keep you and our team safe

A NOTE OF CAUTION FROM OUR TEAM

Your safety and the safety of our staff is of paramount importance. You will receive Covid Safety as well as Health and Safety information from our crew. You must follow ALL instructions. Anyone under the influence of either alcohol or drugs will be turned away and unable to take part in any activity

We take this very seriously and will not tolerate anyone breaching of our guidelines or instruction. If you do, we will not hesitate in asking you to leave and there will be no refund.  If you are the main booker, please make sure the people you are bringing are fully aware of this before attending any session.

If your activity requires helmets and gloves as is the case for Quads, Rage - please bring your own if you have them. We have plenty of helmets but have a strict sanitising and cleansing policy in place. 

Disposable Overalls are available to purchase at £5 each and on busy days and weekends we have The Boathouse Cafe where you can purchase food and drinks. You can pre order yours via the email below.
